Years ago, I read the book by the brave Jew Ilan Pappé entitled *The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine.*
My reading of it proved to me, beyond doubt, the atrocity of the Zionists. As I told the U.S. ambassador, Mr. Robert S. Ford, after my visit to America under the International Visitor Program in November–December 2006: “It is impossible for me to recognize the right of a usurping Zionist entity to our land, Palestine. If the PLO recognized the Zionists’ right to occupy Palestine, Afaf Aniba would never recognize it — not out of hatred of Jews (Mr. Ambassador, many of them lived under the shelter of Islamic civilization in peace and security), but because of their treachery and betrayal of us in Palestine.” They expelled and killed our Muslim and Christian people while they were a minority, so how could a minority turn into armed criminal groups from your civilization to kill us and uproot us from our land — from our homes, our meadows, our deserts, our sea and sky and space and history — and throw us onto the roads of exile, banishment and misery…?
Anyone who counts on the Zionists withdrawing voluntarily from Palestine of ’67 is deluded. I know the nature of the Zionist movement : whether left, center or right, they will not and never withdraw voluntarily from 1967 Palestine. In my view the two-state solution is absurd because it grants the usurping Zionists a right to land that is not theirs, based on their Torah claim that it is their land. I answer like this : the Torah has been altered, and Islam abrogated it, and God bequeathed the land to the most pious — that is, to the people who are most obedient to Him and most upright and just.
Enough of illusion and betting on the two-state solution — they will not withdraw, and as a Muslim I will not accept remaining a wandering, homeless prey far from our land, Palestine, even if some Palestinians accept that. As a Muslim, I repeat, I will never accept it, and there is no solution other than expelling the Zionists by force from Palestine — expelling them with the same force they used on us to kill and displace us.
No, my memory is not stubborn ; I will not forget the massacres, how they tested their biological and chemical weapons on us, how they stole the organs of our martyrs, and how they killed every living thing in Palestine.
No — I did not and will not forget. The cause of the oppressed, no matter how much time passes and no matter how arrogant the occupier becomes, will reach an end.
A happy ending, because God Almighty supports it. God does not wrong, and He helps the oppressed who have not relinquished their legitimate right and their just cause.
