Hajj begins on the 8th of Dhul Hijjah and lasts approximately five to six days depending on the sighting of the moon. You will not have any fear. Since He knew what you did not know, He has coupled this with an immediate victory.<\/blockquote><figcaption class=\"c-quote__source\">Qur\u2019an | Surah Al-Fath | 48:27<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"c-wysiwyg o-row o-row--no-padding-bottom o-wysiwyg-style \" style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<div class=\"o-container\">\n<div class=\"o-article-width o-article-width--centered\">\n<p>While Hajj is required of every Muslim, it is only required so long as they have the capacity. There are conditions which make Muslims eligible to perform\u00a0<i>Hajj<\/i>\u00a0and exempt from performing\u00a0<i>Hajj.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<h2><b>What Is Hajj In Islam?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>The sacred pilgrimage of Hajj is comprised of a series of rites and rituals \u2013 some in order \u2013 that provide a spiritual, emotional, and physical challenge for the pilgrim. For example, a pilgrim can expect to walk between 5km-15km per day, as Hajj requires some travel between several locations in and around the vicinity of Makkah. Much of the pilgrimage takes place at the Masjid al-Haram, where the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.islamic-relief.org.uk\/resources\/knowledge-base\/five-pillars-of-islam\/hajj\/the-kaaba\/\"><i>Kaaba<\/i><\/a>\u00a0is located.<\/p>\n<p><i>Hajj<\/i>\u00a0is a spiritual duty and\u00a0<b>a pillar of Islam<\/b>, and for many, it is a once in a lifetime event. Going more than once during your lifetime is permitted whilst sincerely seeking Allah\u2019s (SWT) (which means \u2018The Most Glorified, The Most High) pleasure.<\/p>\n<p><b>As the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cWhoever performs Hajj for the sake of Allah and does not utter any obscene speech or do any evil deed, will go back (free of sin) as his mother bore him.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"c-wysiwyg o-row o-row--no-padding-bottom o-wysiwyg-style \" style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<div class=\"o-container\">\n<div class=\"o-article-width o-article-width--centered\">\n<h2><b>Why is Hajj important?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Hajj is one of the five Pillars of Islam, which form the basic foundations of a Muslim\u2019s beliefs.
