In 2024, it is planned to maintain Turkmenistan\u2019s GDP growth at 6.3%, increase foreign trade turnover to 20.7 billion US dollars, and invest 38.5 billion manat in the country\u2019s economy.\u00a0 These parameters are included in the Program of Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan and Investments for 2024, approved on Friday at an extended government meeting.<\/p>\n

At a government meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused the attention of members of the Cabinet of Ministers on the priority tasks identified in the draft Program for the socio-economic development of Turkmenistan and investments in 2024, developed with the aim of successfully implementing the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country for 2022\u20132028.<\/p>\n

As the head of state noted, in accordance with the document, this year it is planned to: maintain GDP growth at 6.3%;\u00a0 achieve the full capacity utilization of production complexes;\u00a0 create about 3,000 jobs through the construction of new enterprises.<\/p>\n

Along with this, it is planned to increase the volume of foreign trade turnover to 20.7 billion US dollars, develop small and medium-sized businesses, increase the share of the private sector in the structure of GDP (not including the fuel and energy complex) to 71.4%, as well as household incomes due to an increase of 10% wages, pensions, state benefits and scholarships for students, improve the social and living standards of citizens, said Serdar Berdimuhamedov.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn 2024, it is planned to invest 38.5 billion manats into the country\u2019s economy from all sources of financing,\u201d the President of Turkmenistan noted.<\/p>\n

Continuing the meeting, Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a resolution approving the Program for the socio-economic development of Turkmenistan and investments for 2024.<\/p>\n
