What I am about to say is shocking, and I dare to express it for the first time : I have been following the messages sent by our people in Gaza, and I have noticed two striking points :<\/p>\n
1. It is as if they are counting on a return to the pre-7 October situation in terms of relative order and security. This is a mistake and a futile expectation.
\n2. They are requesting aid and donations individually, as private persons, rather than through official organizations, and this is evidence of the tragic conditions Gazans are enduring. It also proves that aid has not yet entered Gaza-especially the useful and effective kinds-and further indicates the despair of Gazans toward the official entities supposedly responsible for maintaining the truce.<\/p>\n
Anyone who reads their messages or watches their recorded videos can grasp the extent of the destruction and the dire state in which the people of Gaza are living, in addition to the delay-or complete absence-of incoming aid. Meanwhile, death continues to rain from the sky through ongoing bombardment, along with the near-daily incursions of the Zionist enemy\u2019s army into the Strip, to the point that it now controls more than 55% of its territory.<\/p>\n
3. The third issue relates to the general mindset of Palestinians : They are expecting a relative return to security under an expanding occupation, and this is illogical. What they have not yet understood is that as long as Palestine remains occupied by the Zionists, there will be no security, no comfort, and no improvement in their conditions. What will prevail instead are periods of fragile stability that quickly give way to open warfare.<\/p>\n
As for the West Bank, there is no peace there-only ongoing tension and near-daily assaults by Zionist settlers and the enemy\u2019s army. Any Palestinian who believes they can live safely under the occupation\u2019s bayonets is deluding themselves.<\/p>\n
The idea that Zionist forces will withdraw from Gaza is yet another illusion. The fragile ceasefire provision that calls for the enemy\u2019s withdrawal does not change this ; Zionists recognize only their own laws and prerogatives. Their current control over Gaza will not diminish-they will only tighten their grip on the lives of Gazans.<\/p>\n
Therefore, it is more appropriate for our people there to set aside their expectations and hopes, and to prepare for a new round of war with the sons of Zion.<\/p>\n
