America: A Democracy for Those Who Pay More

By Afaf Aniba

Instead of reforming the American political system-especially the electoral system that allows the wealthy to fund candidates for representative and executive offices and to buy their loyalty-Americans remain lost, exchanging accusations among themselves. Few have noticed the growing disinterest of young Americans in voting, or how the complexity of the electoral process makes it incomprehensible to many.

Everyone criticizes Biden’s or Trump’s bias toward the Zionist lobby, yet no one has searched for the root of the disease. Who elected Trump? The electoral college. And who elected the electors? The American people. So how can one denounce Trump’s bias toward the Zionists when it was the American voter who chose a candidate openly aligned with them ?

No one in America seeks to cure the ailments from which American democracy suffers. Everyone criticizes the symptoms of the illness, yet no one works to diagnose its cause. Is it reasonable to allow a presidential candidate to be the puppet of greedy, materialistic lobbies? Is it reasonable for Americans to ignore that the Zionists have gained control over them because, for more than a century, they have been electing whoever accepts Zionist money?

Is it reasonable that Americans continue to pay for the recklessness of Arab kings and princes incapable of protecting their thrones, while every time the U.S. administration must defend the Zionists and their Arab vassals? The taxes that burden the American citizen—varied in form and purpose depending on those who draft and pass them in Congress—serve the interests of a powerful few, and the last they serve are those who actually pay them.

How long will the American political system remain in a state of clinical death while conditions worsen across the states? Those who live among Americans see what the rest of the world cannot see from outside the United States.
