Where are we heading in a world in which the language of war has been firmly entrenched?
Anyone who reflects on the conditions at the heart of the Arab-Islamic world—from Palestine to Syria and Lebanon, that is, the Levant—will immediately realize that the aggressive Zionist plan is being implemented at an accelerated pace, and that its objective is to neutralize everyone who opposes the existence of the occupation.
Nor is the timing innocent. The notion of “exhausting the enemy’s army” is nothing but a diversion, for the enemy is keen to exploit the general state of weakness in the region, while aiming at something far beyond that, as it prepares for a new confrontation with Iran.
All current indicators suggest that the Zionists hold most of the cards, while Arab and Islamic states stand by as mere spectators, lacking any genuine strategy of resistance. The Zionist penetration of Arab regimes is extensive, and normalization has conferred legitimacy upon the enemy’s movements.
So one must ask: what has the nation gained from a policy of concessions? The Zionists grow more aggressive by the day, we lose more land every day, we witness ever more killing, and yet we continue to hear the rhetoric of “development” from some presidents. What kind of development can be spoken of while the Zionist sword hangs over our necks?
