Amid everything we have been experiencing over the past week, Palestine must not disappear from our minds. The situation is moving from bad to worse, with no improvement in sight. Meanwhile, the fragmented Arab order is busy gathering the remnants of missiles instead of reconsidering its questionable alliances.
There is no real ceasefire in Gaza, as we have said repeatedly. In the midst of Ramadan, famine is spreading, the bombardment continues, and assassinations persist across the entire region—from Palestine to Lebanon. The enemy has also begun a new aggression against Lebanon, even though there had never been a ceasefire there in the first place: from targeted killings to drone strikes, and even the widespread poisoning of land borders to eliminate every sign of life and push Lebanese residents into displacement with no return.
All of this is happening hour by hour, yet we have not seen any serious action from any party concerned with the fate of our brothers in Palestine and Lebanon. Moreover, the type of weapons used by the Zionist enemy explodes inside the bodies of our brothers. The ingenuity of Zionist Jews in inventing lethal weapons is unparalleled, and their brutality cannot in any way be compared, for example, to that of the Mongols.
Here we are, having grown accustomed to watching. The overall scene in our countries has become a form of entertainment for many who posture on social media platforms without any meaningful impact. What are the elites doing—those elites who overwhelm us with long analyses and articles about this and that, yet have no influence and no weight with decision-makers? Or are they only skilled at demonizing the resistance and blaming it for things for which it is not responsible?
And what next? Will we remain trapped between wishful thinking and hope while nothing changes on the ground—indeed, while things grow worse and worse? God knows.
