Israeli forces have reportedly shot a child in the head in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, near the so-called “yellow line” separating Israeli-controlled areas from the rest of Gaza, where most of the population lives.

Since the October ceasefire, authorities in Gaza say that hundreds of Palestinians have been shot near the yellow line, all west of it. Israel claims each person posed an imminent threat to its forces. In many cases, the victims have been children, sometimes as young as 8.

Separately, Israeli strikes today hit a tent in Khan Younis, killing three more children.
