Saudi Crown Prince’s Visit : False Leadership and Policies Betraying the Ummah”

By Afaf Aniba

The visit of the Saudi Crown Prince to the United States carries many implications, including:

* Saudi Arabia’s monopoly over a claimed leadership.
* Reinforcing the “me and after me the flood” mindset.
* Willingness to normalize relations in exchange for merely a promise to develop a two-state solution in Palestine.
* Generosity toward the enemy through Saudi investments in the enemy’s economy, while demonstrating extreme stinginess in providing aid to Muslim populations from Palestine to Sudan.
* Saudi decisions, driven by narrow self-interest, completely ignore the interests of the Islamic Ummah as a whole; this narrow, sectarian perspective has undermined our collective interests.
* Seeking the enemy’s protection for a “handful of dust” rather than relying on domestic governance according to Sharia and justice.
* Claiming to care for Muslims from behind the veil of unjust guardianship, which merely justifies aggression instead of confronting it.
* Bringing enemy armies into a sacred land under the pretext of maintaining regional security, rather than relying on local and regional mechanisms among concerned states, independent of Western hostile forces.
* Failing to disclose the extent of Saudi investments in Gaza’s reconstruction, and whether the funds will go to occupied Gaza or to other territories beyond the control of the Zionist enemy.

In short: the purported leadership of Saudi Arabia is a burden on Islam and Muslims, as the policies of the Saudi throne are founded on unprecedented servitude to enemies, leaving no room for pragmatism or genuine realism.
