And now, the international community demonizes Hamas because it carried out a retaliatory military campaign against a terrorist entity on occupied land, one that violates our holy sites and spreads like a cancer through the body of the Arab-Muslim world.
For heaven’s sake, let’s stop talking about the so-called rights of the Zionist people on the land of Palestine. **History**, with a capital “H,” demonstrates that Palestine is Muslim land and that we, as Muslims, have protected the Jews against all odds — for example, in Algeria during Charlemagne’s campaigns and the Crusades in the Holy Land, Palestine.
Why this deliberate amnesia about the protective role Islam has played toward the Jews?
Fine, they are victims of Nazism — but as far as I know, Nazism is European. Why then should we, Muslims and Christians in Palestine, have to pay for the crimes of Nazism? Crimes I even question, because so far, we only have the Zionist version of the Nazi era. Since 1917, we have been suffering from the vengeance of a West that gave the green light to the Zionist occupation of Palestine through the 1947 UN partition plan.
