قال الله تعالى

 {  إِنَّ اللَّــهَ لا يُغَيِّــرُ مَـا بِقَــوْمٍ حَتَّــى يُـغَيِّـــرُوا مَــا بِــأَنْــفُسِــــهِـمْ  }

سورة  الرعد  .  الآيـة   :   11

ahlaa

The Talmudic Roots of Jewish Supremacism 3/3

Written by
When I first read extensive sections of the Talmud, even with the Jewish published translations in front of me, I did not want to believe they were authentic. I approached another Jewish acquaintance, Mark Cohen, and gave him a page of these quotations. He seemed equally upset by them. By the look on his face, I knew instantly that he was completely unfamiliar (and unsympathetic) with this Talmudic writ. He offered to ask his rabbi about their authenticity. The rabbi confirmed that the quotations were genuine but claimed that those views were not currently held by most Jews of today.…

The Talmudic Roots of Jewish Supremacism 2/3

Written by
The Talmud: A Jewish-Supremacist Doctrine In rejecting Jesus Christ and the love and tolerance he preached, Judaism proceeded on its path of chauvinism. It culminated in the pages of the Talmud, an encyclopedic exposition of Jewish law and custom, compiled by hundreds of rabbis over the centuries. The American Heritage Dictionary describes it as “constituting the basis of religious authority for traditional Judaism.” The Talmud was first transcribed in Babylonian times, and the oral tradition is many centuries older. By the Sixth Century AD it was written down, becoming the most important religious work of the Jewish people and the…

? Who speaks for Islam

Written by
The politicization of scholars, experts and media commentators post 9/11 has created a minefield for policymakers and the general public. Many are caught between the contending positions of seemingly qualified experts as well as a new cadre of Islamophobic authors and their revisionist readings of Islam and Islamic history. Today, we now have a new empirically grounded tool that enables us to go beyond the limited interpretations and opinions of experts when asking: What do Muslims think, what do they care about, and what do they want? The Gallup Organization has produced the largest, most comprehensive polling/study of Muslims ever…
Allah teaches us to say before each prayer: “I have turned my face toward him who created the heavens and the earth, as one by nature upright, and I am not of the idolaters”. So this verse shows the direction and the finality religiously. In each work I do, my direction is toward Allah, and I am in harmony with the heavens, the earth, and all creatures, in their turning toward him. Allah teaches us to say before each prayer: “I have turned my face toward him who created the heavens and the earth, as one by nature upright, and…
Have you ever been sitting alone, on a coast, or in a calm place, where no one would interrupt your thoughts, that the question of the meaning of this life, of your beginning and your return, and the secret of your existing and the matter of your end concerned you?. How to Fight the NSA – and Win

Written by
I see innumerable news articles detailing the latest revelations from Edward Snowden, and a blizzard of pieces calling for leniency or a pardon for the world’s most famous whistleblower – but in the comments sections, including of my own columns on the subject, I find expressions of seemingly hopeless despair: "Yes, but what can we doabout it?" The answer: take action at the local level. Use as a model the efforts of Californialibertarian activists who have lobbied state Senators Ted Lieu (D-Torrance) and Joel Anderson (R-San Diego) to introduce the Fourth Amendment Protection Actforbidding any state support to the National Security Agency. "I agree with the NSA that the world is…

Incitement Against Palestine

Written by
US Secretary of State John Kerry spent last week testing the waters with Israelis and Palestinians over his so-called framework agreement – designed to close the gaps between the two sides. But the issues he is trying to resolve appear more intractable by the day. As he headed to the region, Israel’s hawkish cabinet ministers gave their blessing to legislation to annex the Jordan Valley, a large swath of the West Bank that might otherwise be the Palestinian state’s economic backbone and gateway to the outside world. To underscore their point, the interior minister, Gideon Saar, a close friend of…

Respect, beyond tolerance

Written by
Pluralism is a condition of humility and a protection against potential excess and Islam confirms this transversal teaching by synthesising the two dimensions When John Locke wrote his Letter on Tolerance in 1689, he argued for the necessity to accept religious plurality (apart from atheism seen as unacceptable and dangerous). He meant to distinguish the authority of the State and that of the Church: Temporal power, the State, drew up laws and managed the social contract and civil peace between citizens, who must be free to choose their religion and dogmas. Locke addressed the two powers and developed arguments from…

The American Dream is Dead

Written by
“The U.S. worked hard to create the American dream of opportunity. But today, that dream is a myth.” Economist Joseph Stiglitz, Financial Times If you follow the financial news, you already know that the American people are on an epic downer. Just check out some of these headlines I pulled up in a five minute Internet search and you’ll see what I mean: “Gloom and doom? Americans more pessimistic about future” Las Vegas Review “U.S. Standard of Living Index Sinks to 10-Month Low; Expectations for future standard of living drops more than current satisfaction” Gallup “Americans Still Pessimistic About Economy–Almost 70 percent…
Extract of book “Education for faith based intelligence and community life”part II Man and Self. The Self as Organizing Principle: Dear Believers, the great Swiss scientist Piaget described the first awareness of the child as an immediate awareness with no focus in time or place, nor as a distinct and separate being even with a physical awareness of itself. This experience of disembodied awareness can only be termed spiritual. The child who plays with its feet, hands and toes, learning to manipulate things is learning the conscious awareness and functions of its body and mind. As self-awareness grows the child…
