قال الله تعالى

 {  إِنَّ اللَّــهَ لا يُغَيِّــرُ مَـا بِقَــوْمٍ حَتَّــى يُـغَيِّـــرُوا مَــا بِــأَنْــفُسِــــهِـمْ  }

سورة  الرعد  .  الآيـة   :   11

ahlaa

Nabatean kings:
Al-Harith (or Harithah) is an Arabic name that was popular among the Nabataeans, and was carried by four of their kings. Some researchers even considered it a royal title similar to the title of Pharaoh among the Egyptians or Caesar among the Romans.
It was mentioned in the Nabataean texts in the form (HTTA, meaning Haritha), and in the Greek sources, in the form (Arethas or Aretas). It seems that al-Harith (the first) was the first Nabataean king whose name we got, so the researchers called him the first, and that he ruled around the year 169 BC. Perhaps he was the same al-Harith who was mentioned in an inscription found in the Negev region, and this text reads: “This is the place established by Abd Netheru for the life of Harithah, the king of the Nabateans (Nabtu)”, which was mentioned in the Second Book of Maccabees as the leader of the Arabs (Turannos). At the beginning of the first century BC, another Harith, the second Harith (Herotimus or Erotimus), was mentioned as the king of the Nabateans. During his reign, the first Nabataean coins were issued, bearing the letter A (the first letter of his name) in Greek. A modern treasure consisting of (800) pieces of bronze coins was found, some of which bear the letter (H), referring to his name in Aramaic.
Al-Harith II took advantage of the weakness of the Seleucid kings and attacked the Levant with his soldiers. He returned with abundant spoils and succeeded him on the throne of the Nabataeans in the year 95 BC. His son, Ubadah I (95-88 BC), who is said to have inflicted a crushing defeat on the Seleucid king Antiochus XII in the battle of Qana.
