My name is Raaef Elwishee. I was born in Egypt and I have been an American citizen for a quarter of a century. I have three children born in America from an American wife. I have never hurt any body but I am a victim of the U.S government.
Feb.10,05: I was tortured ( naked ) inside the presidential palace of the dictator Mubarak for doing nothing. That would not happen without a green light from the U.S.
12 days after the barbaric torture, the U.S govt. cut my S.S. cheque to please the Egyptian dictator. Believe it or not, they said " based on the information we got .....! " ( click here ).
As a result of that severe torture in Egypt, here is a U.S Med. Report that lists 9 surgeries. ( click here ).
Seven months later, I told the U.S. Consul that I would go to the media to tell them about the cooperation between both govts. against our human rights. He apologized for having wrong info. about me and decided to give me back the cheque. Believe it or not, they also said " based on the information we got....! ( click here ).
Two years later, my under aged son (15 years old - American born) and I were detained and severely tortured at S.S.I.H in Cairo. It is one of the most infamous centers in the world for killing and torturing. One day before that, 4 of the U.S officials supervised the torture in a different detention center. Since Jan. 2009, I have sent 220 letters to Pres. Obama, the Justice Dept. and the Congress. I only got harassment from some sec. agencies to terrify me to close my mouth.
Since 2010 till now, I have sent letters to most of the human rights organizations in the U.S asking them for help. I got no answer. I also did the same thing with many private attorneys but no result.
Since 2010 till now, I have sent my story to tens of American newspapers. They refused to publish it.
On Sept. 27, 2012 one of the main Egyptian newspapers called El Fagr published - for the first time – in one full page some of my story.
Since that time, my life became like hell: My car was chased many times (I have some of their cars’ numbers ). I have received many times some calls to terrify me ( it is easy to prove that ). On Nov 14,13, I faced death in an organized car accident made by them but God saved me ( it is not easy to prove it).
On Jan. 17, 2013 I sent a letter to my Congresswoman ( Mrs.Wagner ) to ask for help. I asked the office manager to sign for receiving. I got no answer but more harassments from some security agencies! ( click here ).
During the first quarter of 2014, the American media published that Senator Rand Paul was asking the American people to send to him any Violation of law that had been committed by Pres. Obama.
On June 18, 2014 I sent a letter to Senator Rand Paul ( Rep. of Kentucky ) asking him to help me to have protection and justice. .
On June 25 I received a call from Ms Stacey from Senator Paul’s office to advice me to send it to my senators in my state.
On July 16, 2014 I also received an e-mail from Senator Paul’s office to advice me to deal with my senators where I live, i.e. Missouri. ( click here )
On June 25, 2014, I went to the office of Senator Roy Blunt ( Rep. ) in St. Louis to deliver a letter to him. I met with the office manager - Ms Mary Beth - and asked her to sign for receiving but she refused. She told me that some body would call me very soon regarding my case. ( click here ).
On July 2, 2014, Ms. Liz Behronze from the office of Senator Roy Blunt called me and she said that Senator Blunt had nothing to do with this case. I reminded her that the main job for the U.S congress is to supervise the actions of the government. I also reminded her that the main job of my senator is to protect me from any violation from the government. I got no answer from her.
On June 25, 2014, I went to the office of Senator Clair McCaskill ( Dem. ) in St. Louis to deliver the letter to her. I got a signature from her office manager, Ms Allyson Leblanc. (Click here).
On July 11, 2014, I received a letter from Senator McCaskill. It was talking about immigration which had nothing to do with my case. ( Click here ).
I called the office of Senator Clair in Washington to let them know that my case is about justice and protection. The secretary gave me the phone number of Ms. Samantha Brewer. She added that that person is in charge about such cases. I called that number many times in different days but no body answered.
I started to have a feeling that Senator Clair did not want to deal with my case.
Was she doing her best to cover up what the U.S government did to us ?!
Is it not strange that it has been so difficult for me to have justice in America ?!
To make sure, I called back her office in Washington – July 14 - to let the secretary know about the phone number that never answered my call.
The voice of the secretary was full of games. I asked her about her name, she answered after couple of seconds : “ Mimi “. I asked her about her last name, she refused. I told her that my Senators – by ignoring my case and my pain – are covering up on purpose the violation of the U.S government. I got no answer from her !
